How to insert space characters into the middle of a string using Replace in Word

Microsoft Word’s Replace feature is under-used because the more complex the requirement, the more complex the solution. If you’re inserting characters into the middle of a string, there is a solution.

Some Microsoft Word users never progress beyond the simplest find-and-replace tasks because they don’t know about wildcards or they find them difficult to apply.
